Shoe polish on carpet.....?
Oh dear!
Reply:DON%26#039;T MESS WITH IT CALL AN EXPERT!!!! THE WRONG PRODUCT CAN MELT THE CARPET.
Reply:I%26#039;d go to a carpet store and ask them. They might know what would take shoe polish out of a carpet.
Reply:Thin it out first with white spirit dry cloth to mop up, get fairy liquid and gently scrub , mop dry keep doing this mopping dry it will gradually fade but will take time to hurry the process you can dry with a hair dryer
Reply:i use 1001, spruce and clean its a miracle. cleaner, cost from £1.00/£1.35.use it neat or diluted i have done both.
Reply:Don%26#039;t Rub it in by trying to rub it off!!!

Take too layers of paper towel and on top of that one layer of brown paper from a paper bag. Take a Hot Iron and iron over the bag to soak up the polish then place another clean layer or paper towel on bag over it and repeat process. Remove as much of the color as you can by repeating the process. After that take some Goo Gone and wipe off excess each time using a clean part of the cloth then %26quot;Thoroughly Shampoo the Entire Carpet.%26quot; There is no guarantee that it will be 100% gone but surely it will be less noticeable in the end.
Reply:I got shoe polish on my carpet and tried everything. I ended up making it worse. I had to pay a professional carpet cleaner $100 to remove the stain. But I guess the good thing was that they had to clean the whole room.
