What do you use to polish shoes with glossy finish? SUGGESTIONS?

Accidentally sprayed Bay Fresh on my stilettos with the glossy finish. I wiped it with a tissue with alcohol right away, only to find out that the air spray already removed the shine of the shoe. The shoe looks really weird now cos a rather big part of it is not glossy. What do I do with the shoe so that i can still use it? Like dye it, apply shoe shine on it, or something?

try this..... get two pieces of Cole and use mortar and passel to crush it...... then on the crushed Cole put baby oil or coconut oil..... but make sure that is on a equal parts ha....... then apply it on your shoe...... let it dry then wipe it off....
Reply:Check what caused the dullness. It could be

1. the spray deposit ,or

2. the alchohol removed some of the gloss coat.

If it's the spray deposit that caused it, removing it should bring back the shine. start with rubbing with something gentle, like body lotion or make up remover, if it fails, try nail polish remover (gently).

If the gloss coat had been removed by the alcohol, it's hard to be replaced. You can try to add shoe wax / shie shine (usually not useful if your shoe is originally high gloss), otherwise, remove the gloss on shoes totally so it doesn't look wierd.

Hope this helps.
